- Regence has comparable plans.
- Group Health also has individual plans, if you don’t mind being limited by having to go strictly in network.
- The State of WA also has a plan, but if you think you might go in this direction, start early. I have heard there is a bit of administrative waiting to get on to this plan. Info found here.
- Country Doctor Community Health Centers – work on sliding scale; heard great reviews about this place; quality doctors who actually care about patients.
- Washington State Insurance Commissioner
- Walgreens Offering Free Healthcare for Jobless, Uninsured

Anyone had success with the “extended benefits” program? Has your first round of unemployment benefits run out? Mine does next week, and I can’t seem to get any action out of the UEI people. They tell me I have to “wait for the letter” and they won’t send it out until the first round is exhausted. Great, so I get a check for $188 that last week, and that’s it, then wait for the letter, then wait 5-10 days for it to process???
Help! Any advice????
